Join us in celebrating Mass at St John the Baptist.
St John the Baptist Church was blessed and opened on 26 March, 1961, by Most Rev. James Duhig, D.D., Archbishop of Brisbane. It was erected as a memorial to parishioners who lost their lives in World Wars One and Two.
St John the Baptist Catholic Church has been a welcoming place of worship for the people and families of the Parish of Enoggera since 1908. Today we are an age and culturally diverse faith family with a strong commitment to compassionate service not only to our own parishioners but also to those in need in the wider community.
We, at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, are “A PEOPLE of the EUCHARIST” who extend a warm and genuine invitation to each and everyone who is looking for a welcoming place in which to worship as a family in faith.

Ministries and groups
Our Parish believes strongly in helping people meet Christ and live out their faith in a supportive and caring community.
Our lay missionary outreach is achieved through various avenues such as: St Vincent de Paul Conference, Loaves and Fishes Meals, Care and Concern, Home Pastoral Visitations including Holy Communion and a Friendship Group open to all.
We have an enthusiastic and developing Youth and Young Adult Ministry which joyfully celebrates a Youth Ministry Mass on the 1st Sunday of each month and participates in a wide variety of faith based activities organised throughout the Archdiocese of Brisbane.
